I earned my Masters of Social Work degree from Georgia State University in 2009. I became a LMSW in 2009 and a LCSW in 2014. My experience in social services and counseling is diverse. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings including direct services and case management, homelessness, child welfare, hospital setting, and mental health and behavioral services.
My top VIA Character Strengths are Appreciation of Beauty & Excellence, Gratitude, Social Intelligence, Humor, and Creativity.
On a personal note, I like to spend time with family and friends, walk and hike, read when time permits, and I’m a dedicated fan of the Atlanta United MLS team, despite their recent rough seasons.
My current license number is CSW005167.
I am a member of Georgia Society for Clinical Social Workers (GSCSW) and Atlanta Center for EFT.

Payment is required at time of service. Your payment information will be added to the portal system and processed through Stripe.
Cash, HSA, and Debit/Credit Cards are accepted.
Please note that HSA/FSA cards often do not provide payment for couples therapy. -
In-Network Coverage
I am in network with Aetna and UnitedHealthcare/Optum, which means most clients pay only their standard copay at the time of service.I encourage you to review your specific insurance benefits before starting therapy so there are no surprises. After each session, I will submit the claim to your insurance, and you will be responsible for any copay, coinsurance, or deductible required by your plan. Your copay is due at the time of your appointment.
Out-of-Network Reimbursement
If you have a different insurance provider, I’m happy to provide a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for possible partial reimbursement. Many clients find that their insurance will reimburse a portion of therapy costs once their deductible has been met.I recommend checking with your insurance provider about your “out-of-network mental health benefits” before beginning. In this case, payment in full is due at the time of your appointment.

I understand that life happens — and I also reserve this time just for you. To respect my schedule, and others waiting for appointments, I require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged as follows:
$75 — Individual sessions
$125 — Couples sessions
Logistics
-
I work with adults and couples, offerening both individual therapy and couples therapy.
I offer in-person sessions at my office as well as telehealth sessions for those who prefer to meet virtually.
-
Standard Individual sessions last for 55-minutes. Couples sessions range between 55- and 85-minute sessions.
As part of our work together, we will decide how long and how often to meet. Duration and frequency may vary depending on the nature of your problem and individual needs.
I request that we meet weekly to begin (for 2-3 weeks) and decide on frequency from there. It is never my intention for therapy to be an additional stressor in life.
-
I meet with clients Monday through Friday and offer a range of times, including some early morning and early evening appointments, depending on the day and availability.
